Ed Bobit: A Man of Outsized Pleasures

One of the many times Ed got lucky and hit two turkeys with one shot.

An annual trip to Kona, Hawaii, with fleet friends was one of Ed's favorite destinations. After the loss of dear friends Don Fenton, Milo Matick and George Weimer, Ed would say, it was never quite the same.

Once yearly, Bobit Business Media held an awards ceremony for sales, editorial (named "The Eddys"), and the Chairman's Award for best company department. He was never so happy as giving out awards for outstanding feature-writing and especially sales milestones.

Though his Dodgers occasionally let him down, Ed had season tickets for years and would always attend opening day.
