Premier Automotive grew its dealership holdings to 40 stores with the acquisition of four Louisiana franchises.

The Harvey, La., purchases from Ray Brandt Dealerships recently closed, bringing Premier’s New Orleans-area holdings to eight dealerships.

It picked up Nissan, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Hyundai and Volkswagen stores in the latest acquisition, rebranding them as Premier properties.

“It means a lot to me to come back to the West Bank,” said Premier owner Troy Duhon, referring to the area where he and his wife, Tracy, are from. “I met my wife when I sold her a car on the Ray Brandt Nissan showroom floor and we’ve been together ever since. We are blessed to acquire these new stores and are excited to be here in Harvey. Ray Brandt was an incredible mentor to me and taught me so much.”

In addition to Louisiana, Premier operates in California, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Mississippi, Virginia and Georgia.
