AAA is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Approved Auto Repair program that evaluates dealership and independent repair shops’ to help ensure quality service.
The nonprofit federation of auto clubs said more than 7,000 locations are part of the network in the U.S. and Canada to guide consumers to trusted repair providers.
AAA examines each candidate against its industry standards before admitting it to the network, then regularly inspects their operations in order to ensure the standards are upheld.
Each year, AAA also recognizes standout locations in the network with service excellence awards, this year giving nods to an auto dealership in all three awards categories.
