Two northeastern Kansas auto dealerships changed hands from one auto group to another.

Max Ford and Max Hyundai, stores in the town of Manhattan owned by Max Motors, were sold to 2Auto Group in a transaction brokered by Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions.

2Auto rebranded the dealerships to Manhattan Ford and Manhattan Hyundai.

Max Motors still owns seven other dealerships, all in Missouri, across the Ford, Chevrolet and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram brands, plus a collision center.

Pinnacle handled another transaction for Max Motors in recent months when it brokered the sale of Ford of Harrisonville in Harrisonville, Mo. And last year it helped 2Auto buy a Mazda store and a Hyundai dealership.

The firm said it’s facilitated the sale of more than 850 U.S. dealerships worth a total of $40 billion.
