The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. released Relo, a new parts-delivery robot designed to improve efficiency and safety in dealership service departments. The technology, first previewed at NADA 2025, combines autonomous movement with integration with the dealership management system to streamline shop workflows.
Relo operates on programmed routes and uses lidar sensors to detect and navigate around obstacles. The robot is designed to keep technicians in their bays rather than walking to the parts department, allowing them to focus on repairs. Capable of transporting several hundred pounds at a time, Relo also reduces strain-related injury risk for technicians and parts personnel.
“Relo helps dealers improve efficiency and safety by keeping technicians focused on service work,” said Reynolds President Chris Walsh, who's also serving as acting CEO.
Part of the Reynolds Retail Management System, Relo will be demonstrated at the Reynolds Retail Summit: Amplify 2025 in Dallas. Walsh said the event will also include an announcement about a new artificial intelligence technology the company is developing.
